I wrote this song in early 2008, building on what
I've been learning in my guitar lessons over the past few years. The
lyrics are rooted in two poems I penned a couple of years back
(found in the Muses Galleries, if you're curious). I recorded
three guitar tracks using my 12 string Ovation for the rhythm and my
Parker Fly Classic for both the lead and distorted parts. I sang all
three tracks of the vocals too (I'm no singer - did the best that I could). The drum track was
put together using a computer synth called Session Drummer 2 that's part of
Cakewalk's Sonar 7 PE, the software I used for all the recording and
mixing.
